Skipping Stones Designs- SSD #39

Good morning! Its time for another  Skipping Stone Designs Sketch Challenge. (Scroll down to the bottom of my post to see another awesome sketch by Maren.)  Instead of the 3 strips of pattern paper behind the main panel I went for lots of scraps. Great way to use up all those scraps. 


Isn't that butterfly gorgeous? Its one of a new set being released this month at Skipping Stones called "Always Here". I colored it with Copics and added highlights with a white gel pen. The antenna are simply a piece of black thread adhered to the back.To create the background panel, I cut a lot of these leaf designs from the Cindy Lou Cricut cartridge. I glued them down, trimmed the edges, added a bit of ink and lots of glitter!
