Skipping Stones Designs Color Challenge

Good morning and welcome back for another Skipping Stones Design Challenge. This week instead of a sketch we have a color inspiration to work with.

LOVE those summer beach colors! When I think of beach, I think of Holy Carp stamp set.

I started with stamping the fish on the white card  base and coloring him in. Next I took a piece of vellum, inked it up with distress inks and splattered it with water. This gave the color a mottled look but also added some texture to the vellum as it dried. Next I stamped the image again on the vellum so you could see it better. To create the waves, I used a circle punch.

We'd love to have you play along with this week's challenge. Be sure to link up your card on the Skipping Stones Design blog!
