There She Goes Again- Metal Challenge

Its time for There She Goes Again. This week's challenge is Metal and I decided to combine the cute TSGA Friendbots with the metal challenge.

supplies used: There She Goes (Friendbots), metal duct tape, copics, Basic Grey alphabet stickers, twine

To create the look of riveted metal, I wrapped a piece of metal duct tape (found in hardware stores) around a piece of chipboard. Next I took my scoring tool, and created lines/panels. I used a variety of tools to create texture... cuttlebug quilling tool (screw look), pen cap and end of exacto knife (quilted effect on left). I painted on a coat of black paint, let it sit for a few minutes and wiped it off, leaving paint in the groves.

Aren't these guys cute?! You have to check out Nursebot and Birthdaybot, two more of this months There She Goes Again sets. LOVE these adorable robots!

Head on over to There She Goes Blog and check out the amazing creations the design team has whipped up! And be sure to play along with this week's challenge- METAL. To be eligible for the giveaway, create a NEW card or project using metal in some form, and then head over to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (July 22nd). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

This metal look is very cool!! When you talk about the metal duct tape, do you mean the silver duct tape or tape for your furnace ducts? Thanks for the wonderful technique!
