Today was the last day of spring break around our house. The last day to lounge around in our pj's, the last day to sleep in late (ok, somehow thanks to the dogs I never did get to sleep past 6 am all week) and the last day to relax. Tomorrow everyone will go back to school and work, and I will work on getting the house back in order. I love having the kids home, but I'm ready for a more normal schedule again.

Today I was able to finish up my DT projects for Memoryvilla and even start on next months layout. It had been almost 2 months since I have scrapbooked, so it was nice to finally find some creativity again. Of course my room now looks like a mess. Its creative chaos, right? I'll have to add that to the list of cleaning to do tomorrow.

Resolutions '08

Foiled Bird Card
For the card, I cut out the bird from 7gypies pattern paper, applied Tombow Mono repositionable glue, allowed to dry and then applied 7gypsies Foil to the tacky surface. Add a bit of black Stazon and you have a lightweight faux silver embellishement. 7gypies also makes adhesive rubons that you can use the foil with, but I'm having so much fun experimenting with just the foil.

And I have just one last card to share. This one is for Allisons Suggestive Sunday Bug Challenge. I had to dig in my stamp chest to come up with this ladybug stamp. I think it actually was from one of the kids craft kits, but I'm glad it ended up in my stash afterall.

These are all great! I love birds so that second one is super...but on to the reason I'm here! I had to look for those ladybugs since I thought it was just patterned paper! Great sneak from the kids' stash...thanks for playing (and right under the wire to boot!).

Really great. I especially love the 3D dog.
