Rainy Day Sundays

Why is it that it always seems to rain on the weekends during spring and summer. It can be nice and sunny all week long, but as soon as the weekend comes it rains. Oh well, I guess its just as well because it gave me time to get caught up on housework and scrapping projects.

I was able to combine both Allison's AFSS-11 Dotty challenge and RubberNecker Stamps pink, lavender, green blog challenge for this Celebration Card.

supplies used:
RubberNecker stamps (Scotty dog & Jack in the box)
October Afternoon rubons
Chatterbox pattern paper
Cuttlebug Swiss dots

I just love that little doggie stamp. Super cute and easy to watercolor. The hat from the jack in the box stamp makes the perfect birthday hat for him. I stamped the hat twice, cut out the stars and moons and layered them with pop dots. A piece of cotton ball was used to create the pom-pom ball.

Heres another card that I created for the RubberNecker stamp challenge. The inspiration for this card...well, that would be James from Big Brother and a saying on an older piece of Urban Lily pattern paper. This pink haired dog refuses to blend in to the crowd.

supplies used:
RubberNecker (scotty dog)and Hero Arts stamps
Urban Lily, Basic Grey, CraftySecrets pattern paper
Doodlebug flower
Kaiser Scrapbooking and SEI bling

These are terrific...the layering of those dogs is fantastic (and too much work). I think using the black cardstock is just brilliant! Thanks so much for playing!
