Fun with a single stamp

This card was done for a challenge on Renee's blog to celebrate the Little Paper Shop new stamp releases. The challenge was to make a card using a simple shape as the main image for the card. I've had this stamp from Autumn Leaves for awhile now and just never inked it up. It came in a set of flowers and leaves. I stamped the circle on graph paper to make it a cinch to line up. I colored the images in with colored pencils, adding a bit of shadow to the circles to give them depth. This has got to be the most unusual shaped card I've made yet, lol! There is a triangular card attached behind the diamond shape to allow it to stand up and to give me a spot to write my message.

supplies used:
stamp: Autumn Leaves
sticker: Scrapworks
other: colored pencils

supplies used:
stamp: Autumn Leaves, Fontwerks, PSX
stickers: AC thickers

This challenge was alot of fun to do. Once I started stamping I started coming up with different ideas to use just that one single stamp. I tried watercoloring...didn't work so well on graph paper because the blue lines bled. I tried chalks. I created a border out of the circles. I have a nice little stack of circle "pattern paper" now on my desk just waiting to be made into cards, so you just may be seeing some more of these in the future. ;) Thanks for the challenge Renee!
