I guess the good thing about the unbelievably hot heat we've been getting is having an excuse to hang out at home in the air. This was the third card that I made this weekend. This uses Beate's weekend sketch #51. Inkadinkadoo has some of the cutest little sets out there. And they were only a dollar ...gotta love that!
To create the strip of cactus, I clear embossed the images and then loosely filled them in with watercolors. I was hoping to achieve a slight batik effect. I cut the word phrase apart so I could stamp the phrase in a single row. I strayed slightly from the sketch by moving the image to the left side. shhhh, don't tell but it's covering an ink smudge. oops, lol!
supplies used:
Inkadinkadoo stamps
Daisy D pattern paper

This card is so cute! I love that stamp. Great job covering the ink smudge. I love it when a project still looks great, despite an oops. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Too funny- have you seen the previews for the new chihuahua movie coming out-it has a trio of little tuffies exhorting the others to just say "no mas" to being dressed up and stuffed into purses!
