inchies fun

Each week Lizzie Anne Designs has a new sketch to play with. This is this weeks sketch. Isn't it a fun sketch?! I flipped it so the torn paper effect was on the right side. I was having the hardest time working with it on the right side, but once I flipped it, it all came together. This is using more of that custom paper paper I made.

supplies used: Lizzie Anne Designs, Fontwerks, MAMBI sticker, Scenic Route pattern paper, and stickles

This next card is for a challenge at Scrapfriends to create and use inchies on a card. Just in case you don't know what inchies are, they are 1" by 1" squares of paper (exactly as they sound, lol) that you decorate however you want. I cheated a bit for these ones because I cut them into inchies actually from that custom pattern paper. I embossed them with clear EP and matted them. This card is actually super simple in layout compared to what I'm used to doing. I had a hard time leaving it alone and not adding to it. I'm liking that white space though.

supplies used: Lizzie Anne Design stamps, Studio G (you), Heidi Swapp rubon (ROCK)

If you get a chance come join in the challenges at the Scrapfriends July Bash. There are still some fun challenges going on.
