This week marks the birthday celebration for Lizzie Anne Designs stamps complete with some really cute new stamp releases, birthday sketch contests and an anniversary party. Today is the last day to enter a card for the sketch contest. Here is my card for sketch #1. Love making clear cards...don't like photographing them. Hopefully you can see enough details in the following photos. Sorry about the glare.
The green cutaway strip in the center was created by stamping on the backside with the large flower from the Jolies Fleur set. I drew in a 1/8 inch border and cut out all the insides of the flowers and the negative space leaving just the flower outlines and a border. I stamped four medium size flowers in versamark, chalked them and cut them out to use for the flower centers. The background was created with the paisley stamp, veramark and chalks. The background pieces butt up to the center cutaway piece on both sides so you can actually see completely through the floral cutaway design. The quote is a Wordsworth sticker that I added to chalked vellum.
supplies used: Lizzie Anne Designs stamps, Versamark, Wordsworth sticker, chalk
The next card is one that I made using this weeks SCS color combo. I cut out a deer image from copy paper and used it as a mask to chalk over. The flowers are also from the Lizzie Anne Design Jolies Fleur set. The teeny tiny white flowers were actually found inside one of the paisley images. I added Marvy liquid applique to the centers. I heated them to make them puffy and added a bit of chalk. Love those cute 70's style flowers.
