Lizzie Anne Designs Sneak Peek Day 3

I am SO excited for todays sneak peeks. A few months back when Meridith and Tricia were asking on the boards for ideas, I mentioned wanting a damask set. I am finding myself drawn to damask patterns lately. shhh, don't tell but I even bought Christmas wrapping paper because of the gorgeous damask pattern on it and then proceeded to hoard it because it was too pretty to cut into. LOL!

Check out Lizzie Anne Designs new Damask Set. I love to create background paper for my cards. The solid designs are perfect for creating pattern paper.

This first card uses one of the damask shapes interlaced in three rows to create the pattern. I *heart* my stamp positioner! I went back and added white dots with a gel pen, a rubon and a crisp white bow. simple, but elegant.

Look, I scrapbooked! Its been awhile since I created a layout, but I couldn't wait to try using these stamps with versamark to create a subtle pattern. I used that same stamp again on the kraft cardstock to create the pattern above and below the journaling box. I went and added a bit of red watercolor to some of the pattern to I also used the leafy vine image on the black cardstock for a very subtle pattern.

I was coloring the school boy image from the LAD School Days set the other day, working on another card when I realized how much his outfit reminded me of Indiana Jones outfit. (lightbulb moment) He would be perfect for this Indiana Jones layout sitting half finished on my desk. He just needed a hat. I drew a hat for him, cut it out and added it to his head, made him look like he was a bit in need of a shave, and gave him a whip... Indiana Jones. My youngest made sure to point out to me that his whip is on the wrong side and his backpack should be wrapped around him. Of course that didn't stop him from walking around with him all morning. LOL!

Are you ready for one last sneak peek? Check out this cool tattoo stamp! I just think this is the cutest stamp. This will be the perfect Valentines Day card for my hubby this year. I don't think I mentioned it, but for Christmas he asked for another tattoo. Kinda hard to wrap that and put it under the tree, lol! So you just might be seeing this stamp on a layout soon.
