more coffee, please.....

I think its almost time for another pot of coffee this morning. I had a fun time chatting with everyone at the LAD release party, but it was late by the time I snuck into bed. Pretty much as soon as I started to fall asleep, DS who had been feeling sick earlier in the evening woke up every hour with the stomach bug. I forgot just how exhausting those sleepless nights are. He seems to be feeling a bit better this morning (fingers crossed) and we're just going to have a relaxing day at home filled with lots of naps.

This sunny cheerful card seemed like the perfect card for todays post. I don't usually use alot of grey, but I an loving it when combined with the yellows and reds. Makes me think of spring!

I used the Wings on Things- Big set from Molly Stamps to create the butterfly and the Wings on Things-small for the saying. When you get the Wings on Things set you will notice that they have separate wings (right and left) to create a butterfly, dragonfly and angel. The wings are separate to give you more flexibility and creativity in using the wings. To create the body for this butterfly, I used one of the Tim Holtz Game spinners as the body and just added a few Kaiser gems.

supplies used:
paper- Tinkering Ink
other- Doodlebug Frills, Kaiser gems, Bazzill cardstock, Tim Holtz Game Spinner

Very nice card, Wendy! I love the color combo you put together. I don't use much grey either, but have some in my stash. Thanks for the inkspiration!
