Lizzie Anne Sneak Peeks start....Now!

Are you ready for some Lizzie Anne Sneak Peeks? Today's sneak peeks are of two new sets, Garden Inspiration and Bless This Nest. But there's something else. For the first time, Lizzie Anne Designs is releasing digital paper packs featuring their stamp designs.

First up is Bless This Nest. I absolutely love the images in this set!!! The nest of eggs has been watercolored and matted on a piece of paint splattered Prism. This is such a simple technique to create the robins egg effect. Water down some brown paints, dip a toothbrush in the paints, run your finger along bristles to create the flecks of paint. This technique can get a bit messy, but its alot of fun. My 5 yr old came running to help when he saw what I was doing, LOL!

Here is another card from Bless This Nest. I stamped the partridge image three times on kraft cardstock. I added a light wash of watercolors to the birds and then went in with a white gel pen to add highlights.

This next card features the stamps from Garden Inspirations. Love them! You're going to get tired of me saying that, but I did warn you this was my absolute favorite release yet! I stamped the flowers in three different colors, added an American Crafts ribbon and Making Memories tag.

And the last sample I have to share with you isn't a card but a digital layout. It has been so long since I've been scrapping, that sitting down to create a layout is tough. I begin to question the fundamentals of my layouts. Enter digi scrapping. The thing I love about this, if its not right you simply delete your layer and try again. There is no wasted supplies and no running out. And something really cool about digital, is you can change it to match your project. If the colors aren't exactly what you're looking for, change the hue.
My sample is a layout, but you don't have to create digi layouts with these papers. You can simply print right out of the printer and use them to create hybrid cards and projects with. Lots of fun possibilities!

In this layout I used the Gizmos and Gears Digital Paper Packs to create this layout about my son. I lightened the background paper. I extracted out a robot from the one paper and added a stoke to make him look like a chipboard/sticker piece.

That's it for today but be sure to stop by the Lizzie Anne Designs Blog to leave a comment for a chance to win the stamps shown today! Do you want to see more sneak peeks? Stop by Jeanne , Kendra , Maren , Debbie , AJ , Rose Ann , Taylor , Jeni , Joslyn and leave them some love!
