its BBQ time...

...Well almost. Two more days until the holiday weekend and I am more than ready for a bit of R&R, burgers on the grill and sweet corn on the cob! We had our first corn of the season with dinner last night....YUM!!!

Today's project is one that I did using the new Lizzie Anne Designs Chillin' & Grillin' stamp set. To create the invite, I used the Perfect Polkas digi papers. To create the center for my type I simply erased out the center dots in photoshop.

The tag for the fork was created by simply stamping the ants on the vellum tag and adding a few pen dots to show motion. Add a gingham bow and glue dot it to the fork and you have a simple way to add a bit of interest to what would have been an ordinary invite.

supplies used:
stamps: Lizzie Anne Designs (Chillin' and Grillin')
digital papers: Lizzie Anne Designs (Perfect Polkas)
fork: IKEA
other: tag, ribbon
