more than a one cup of coffee day...

The hubby and kids are off all week and we have a huge list of things to do. I'm thinking its going to take more than one cup of coffee to get me moving this day, lol! What happened to vacations being relaxing?

I colored directly on this coffee cup stamp with my kids washable Crayola markers. Gave them a little huff and stamped onto the watercolor paper.

supplies used: Lizzie Anne Designs (December 09 Monthly Mix, Celebrate), Crayola Washable markers

cute story... when it came time for Christmas shopping my youngest insisted to my hubby that I "NEEDED" a Crop-o-dile. hmmm, I think he might have remembered me muttering under my breathe the last time I tried punching holes in chipboard. LOL! Anyway, I open the gift on Christmas morning and DH pipes in "we used your coupon". I'm now happily punching holes in everything, but even better is knowing he saw my Joann's ad in the car and put the coupon to use. Maybe its the recession or maybe after all these years we really are rubbing off on each other. :)

Wendy, I love this! The 3D, the technique you used and the colors are awesome!

Your son had a great gift idea for you, and using the coupon was the icing on the cake. Love the story! Think about what you need next and talk to yourself when crafting for you next gift...hee hee!

This is sooo pretty! I love the 'layers' of color, and how fun that you used your kids' Crayola markers!

Lucky you that your family knew just what to gift you for Christmas, and even better that they were resourceful enough to use your coupon...unless of course you had other plans for it. ;)

Crop-a-Dile's are wonderful gadgets! So glad you got yours now, and how cute about the coupon :) My dh hates using coupons and it frustrates me, lol!

Love the stamping... you always do awesome and unique techniques!

Love it when supplies can cross age groups....kidlets playing with Mama's crafty goodies (with permission, of course!) and Mama getting her hands on kidlets' creative toys! And it looks great too!

Okay, so I think its fantastic to have a perfect crafty toy, er....um....I mean tool, under the tree. But, I LOVED that he couponed it!!!!! Half of my hesitation for asking for certain crafty items is that I would be annoyed if Hubby payed full price for it. TOO Cool that he snagged the coupon, used it, and your kidlet for listening in to your mutters!! :>:>
