I started today's card with a spring card in mind for the Paper Craft Design Team gallery. I'm not sure I'd call the end version springy. Although there's no snow and the birds are out on it so I guess it works. I used a sketch from Inspirations Card Sketches. Instead of an oval above the background strips I placed a sun there. If you stand 10 feet back from the computer and squint it kinda looks like the sketch, LOL!
I used Stampendous Perfectly Clear Sets Birch Buddies and Jumbo Snowman . The sun is just 4 circles cut out of various yellow/orange pattern paper in increasing size....

Oh, I love this card it is adorable! I love the way you perched the owl and the jay in the trees with the giant sun behind them. The colors are fantastic!

I LOVE the cute owl card with it's simplicity and bright colors. Owls have always been one of my favorites, that is until they fly over my car and mess it up... We have one that has taken over our barn and now my car says outside.
