Good morning! This month's Lizzie Anne Design Team Challenge is to use a product on your card that is not a typical cardmaking product. I have to tell you, I struggled with this challenge. Eight years ago there wasn't the selection of product available that there is now so we had to get a bit creative. There isn't much that hasn't made its way onto my layouts and cards through the years.... nuts/bolts, cheesecloth, cork....even electrial outlet covers.
I decided to revisit a technique I've tried in the past... toilet paper casting! Take 8-10 pieces of clean toilet paper and spray with water. Either ink your stamps up with ink or color with a marker. Now press your stamp firmly down into the damp TP leaving an impression. The way I learned how to do this is that you leave your stamp down in the TP to dry. yeah, I didn't have time and its too darn humid here for that so I dried it with a heat gun. The end result is a casting of paper with the stamp impression into it.
stamps used: August Mix (Turn Toward the Sun) and Sketched Sentiments
Just a reminder: Today is the last day to take advantage of the 40% off Anniversary Sale at Lizzie Anne Designs and the last day to enter the CPS challenge!

This turned out super cute Wendy!
This is great, never would have thought that was toilet paper. Would have been great for everything but the kitchen sinks' first or second challenge a long time ago. Your final results are so soft and pretty.
Wow, Wendy! This is darling! I love those puffy, fluffy clouds and soft colors!
I like the soft pastel look achieved by inking the damp toilet paper. I'm glad you specified to use "clean" toilet paper - that really tickled my funny bone! :)
I love this, Wendy! It is SO adorable!!
