Bloom...

First day back to school for the kiddos and this nervous mom has been up since 4 am with butterflies in her belly.  I think I was most worried about my oldest son who was starting middle school. So many changes for him as he learned how to find all his classes in a big school of new faces. Seems that all the worry was for nothing because all three kids came out of school with smiles on their faces.

This card seemed appropriate for today as I watched our kids "bloom" into the young adults they are becoming! The leaf is from Lizzie Anne Designs Treasured Trinkets. "Bloom" is from the new Freshly Picked Cricut cartridge.

supplies used: Lizzie Anne Designs Treasured Trinkets stamps, Basic Grey Origins pattern paper, Copics, Freshly Picked Cartridge (Provo Craft)

This is terrific! I love the little blossoms and the white pen detailing.

Good luck to your kids in school! I know what you mean, I worried when my child was only in school for 3.5 hrs. and now he's going to be there for 6.5 hrs...eeks! I can't begin to imagine him trying to find his own class yet! :) Love your card to go along with the theme!

Wendy, glad to hear the kids' first day of school went okay. My two came home happy, too.

Your card is so sweet!
