Giving Thanks ISS Blog Hop

Good morning! I'm excited to be joining the In Style Stamp girls for this months blog hop! You should have come from Robin's blog. This months theme is Giving Thanks. Come hop along!

I'm working with William and Virginia, two adorable new digital images! I couldn't wait to try paper piecing those outfits and creating some holiday decorations. Here's a photo of the two finished pieces hanging on my wall...

I've done paper piecing with traditional stamps but I had never tried them in digital yet. I printed my images on  the white cardstock I would be using as a base. Next I cut a piece of pattern paper, taped it down to a piece of copy paper in the same cooresponding location that the digi image printed and ran it through my printer for another copy of the images. Simple as that! All that was left to do was cut out the clothes and hats for William and Virginia, glue them down and color the rest of the images.

I cut some vines using the Cricut and used them to create a tone-on-tone background design for the pieces. I left the glass out of the frame so I could pop the images up on pop dots.

Thank you for stopping in and visiting my blog today! Now hop on over to Cathy's blog! If you get lost along the way here is a list of the participants:
