Stampendous JUMBO Blog Hop

Woo Hoo! Its time for the Stampendous Blog Hop and also time to reveal the BIG secret that we've been keeping! We've been hinting all week about a HUGE surprise from  Stampendous that is going to be a BIG success. Any guesses yet? Thats right....we're going JUMBO!!! Stampendous is releasing JUMBO Cling Rubber Stamps!

To give you an idea on the size of these stamps, this layout is 12 x 12 inches. These are PERFECT for creating backgrounds and embellishments on layouts! The flowers are from a set called Cling Jumbo Hydrangea Set CRS5005. These flowers measure approximately 7 inches from top to bottom of the stem. Thats huge! No, thats JUMBO! The circle design that I've tucked behind the title is from a set called Cling Jumbo Thinking of You CRS5002.

love, love, LOVE that flower! I stamped it multiple times on white cardstock and colored it with Derwent Inkense Watercolor Pencils. I cut out the flowers and layered them up with pop dots. A bit of glitter finishes off the flowers!

This next card shows just how simple a card can be to create thanks to the JUMBO size of these stamps. I used the Cling Jumbo Dahlia Set CRS5007. I just pulled out a ruler to measure the flower...almost 5 inches round! Sweet! I stamped the flower in Versamark, embossed in Stampendous Clear Embossing Powder and then added a bit of color with the watercolor pencils.

Here is another sample I made using the Cling Jumbo Dahlia Set CRS5007. These stamps are perfect for personalizing a blank gift bag with! I stamped the image in Stazon on the front of the bag and then I went in and colored the reverse side of the flowers with Copics.

The sentiment is from the new set called Cling Jumbo Happy Birthday Set CRS5009.

While I was playing with gift bags, I came across one in my stash that was too wrinkled to upcycle. Not wanting to throw away that cool plastic, I came up with these window decorations. I stamped the Jumbo Dahlia in Stazon on the plastic material, cut it out and colored the back with Copics. Wishing I had a little girls room to decorate because I can totally visualize creating a bunch of these and hanging them from the windows/ceilings. Since they're clear they can twist and spin in the breeze without seeing an unsightly back.

You might be thinking...but I don't have a stamp mount big enough for these, don't worry Stampendous is also releasing a new stamp mount that is approximately 5 x 7 inches big! I use this alot, for not just the JUMBO clings, but also for some of the new clear flower sets like Narcissus and Daisy Thanks. love it!

In case you didn't start at the Stampendous Blog, be sure to hop on over there and follow the links to all the participating Design Team members! Lots of fabulous samples to see! You have until Tuesday, Feb 2nd to leave a comment on all the blogs to be in the running to win some of these fabulous new stamps! Now what are you waiting for ...get hopping and commenting! :)

OK Wendy, once again your beautiful artwork makes me speechless! Your scrapbook page is incredible! Please, would you please create a tutorial on how you colored the hydrangea?

I notice a couple of you have stamped on textured card stock. The sharp clean images are testaments to the great quality of these stamps.

Wendy, hi! Thanks for popping over to my blog this weekend. Your comment about asking husbands' opinions made me laugh! You're probably right. Sometimes, he and the kids are my only 'sounding boards' though.

I LOVE that scrapbook layout of the boys. It's beautiful. I love the color scheme, and that magnificent flower. Beautiful. You must be super proud of how that turned out.
