Hi everyone! Its time for another Skipping Stones Design sketch challenge! I can't believe its the end of May already. I have to take a second to thank the girls at SSD for letting me join them for the month of May! I had so much fun!!!
Here is the fabulous sketch by Danielle Flanders. I actually was a bit stumped when I sat down to create this card. Single layer cards are tricky for me. I ended up stamping a sentiment for the dash lines and filling the blank spots in with butterflies. I know the sketch didn't call for another element, but I had this butterfly colored already and thought he looked so pretty against the green.
Heres a peek at the butterfly. I colored it with copics and just added dabs of oranges and yellows on the butterfly scales. I didn't worry too much about blending the colors in perfectly. Love that pop of oranges against the green!
supplies used:
stamps: Skipping Stones Designs (Healing Wings, Dandelion Dreams)
cardstock: Provocraft
coloring medium: Copics
ink: Momento, Versafine
