Hi everyone! Welcome back for another Skipping Stones Design Tuesday where every Tuesday we bring you a new sketch to try out. This weeks is another sketch by the fabulous Amy Sheffer!
I used Cancer Schmancer and Sentiment Frames for the card. I can't get enough of those butterflies. I stamped them in Memento and colored them with Copics.
After inking and coloring all the butterflies I thought it looked a bit plain, so I created some masks for the butterflies and inked the background up with Broken China Distress Ink. I splattered a bit of watercolors on the background.
The green paper that I used for my sentiment is actually a recycled from the trash bin. It came from an American Craft Adhesive Multipack. I thought the pattern was too pretty to throw away so I cut it out and saved it. Glad to finally put it to use on a card.
I'm entering this in the following challenges:
- Paper Issues- Tree Hugger
- Paper Sundaes- Anything goes
- Crafty Emma- Recycle
- Colour Create- lime, aqua, white
- Little Red Wagon- repeat an image

GORGEOUS! Love the impact of the colors you used.
Great job Wendy!! I love your upcycling. I am really trying to incorporate it into my crafting, but I am finding that I am piling up alot of JUNK and not using it. Your card is awesome (as usual). I hope you have a super week.
