Big thanks to everyone for stopping by my blog. And don't forget to mark your calendars for next Saturday Feb 11th for a Stampendous Blog Hop!
____________________________________________

Hi everyone! If you're visiting from Kathryn Krieger's Scrappy Bowl Sunday USTREAM event...Welcome! If you're just stumbling by my blog tonight stop on in and join the USTREAM chat. It will be starting at 6:30 EST.  The Stampendous DT gals will be visiting and giving away Stampendous Color Fragments!

supplies used: Stampendous (Chiffon Color Fragments, Cling Jumbo Orchid Cling Jumbo Cameo Frame, Charm Collection Perfectly Clear Stamp Set,  Altered Type Alphabet Perfectly Clear Stamp Set, Journal Border Perfectly Clear Stamps, Crystal Glitter ), Tsukineko (Memento Ink & Platinum Planet Brilliance Ink), Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink, watercolors, Basic Grey chipboard letters, Elmers Craft Tacky Glue, Kreaxions Punches (punch #304 & punch #905), SEI rubons, Fontwerks rubons, Faber Castell PITT Pen, Copics

How about a closeup of the Color Fragments? So much fun to play with! They come in Taupe, Rose, Sage, Powder Blue and Chiffon. I used Chiffon on my title. You can adhere it with your favorite adhesive or even embed them into embossing powders.

For my title, I painted my chipboard letters with yellow acrylic paint. I wanted them to have a base coat just in case I missed any areas with the fragments. Next, I crushed up a bit of the fragments. After giving the letters a thick coat of Elmers craft glue, I sprinkled on the crushed fragments.

I stamped the design from Jumbo Orchid on the cardstock in Platinum Brilliance. Such a pretty, subtle background!

I masked off the circle and using the Journal Border I stamped the lines in the design. The butterflies are some of my favorite images in the Stampendous Charmed Collection.

Using the Kreaxion punches (905 and 304) I punched borders to tuck under my photos. The orange border started as a piece of white cardstock. After punching the design I used the same orange watercolor from the flower centers to color the border. Next I wiped Elmers glue over the entire piece with a highly technical tool....my finger. (wink) All that was left to do was sprinkle on some Stampendous crystal glitter and watch it shimmer!

I stamped the king bird image from Stampendous Charm Collection on my photo corner in Archival Ink. The alphabet rubons are an oldie but favorite from Fontwerks. anyone remember them? I loved their stuff! Before rubbing the letters onto the photo, I added colored the rub-on with Copic. When I transferred the rub-on the color was also transferred. The orange dots are another older rubon from SEI.

USTREAM chatters...are you ready to find out how to win a bottle of Color Fragments? Be sure to leave a comment below. I'll choose a winner after the game and announce it on my blog.
“Due to customs restrictions, U.S./APO/FPO Winners only, Sorry!”

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
