Good morning! Today I'm back with an ornament I created for this month's Stampendous Challenge....SHAPED CARDS. I decided to create a wood burned ornament using a DIY Bangle Coin Disk Pendant and Stampendous Cling Chickadee. I had created a bunch of these ornaments to give as Christmas gifts, but forgot to get a photo before giving them out. I have been wanting to make another one for my craft room window and thought it would be perfect for this months challenge.
If you're on the fence about trying woodburning...try it! It really is a lot of fun. Walnut Hollow makes a great wood burning tool and tips. To celebrate National Craft Month, Walnut Hollow has a promo running through the end of the month...40% off with the code 40YEARS. Info on their home page.
Ready to see even more shaped inspiration from my teammates? Here is a list of the Stampendous team members and special friends playing along today:
We want YOU to play along with us! Just add your direct link to your shaped card or project to the linky tool below my signature (or on the Stampendous blog) no later than April 5, 2012 at 11:00 PM EST. You do not have to use Stampendous products to play along, but we sure love it when you do! And as an extra incentive for playing, one lucky person (drawn at random from all the entries) will receive the gorgeous Hollyhock Jumbo Cling.
I'm entering this in the following challenges:
(will be back later to update after coffee with the hubs)
