Fabulous card. LOVE the embossed background and the mica flakes on the branch.

Supplies Used:
Stampendous (Cling Holly Basket and Cling Christmas Background)
Ranger (Archival ink and Glossy Accents)
Stampendous glitter
the Twinery

I just got some Memento Markers from Tsukineko/Imagine Crafts and have been having fun playing! I colored the image in first with Pear Tart for the holly and Cantaloupe for the basket. To add shading, I scribbled off a bit of Cottage Ivy and Bamboo Leaves onto a craft sheet, spritzed it with water and used it as watercolors.

To create splatters on the background, I did the same thing. After diluting the color, I picked it up on a paintbrush and spattered it onto my paper.

One of my favorite ways, that I've found to use the markers is to ink up the stamp with them. I inked up the sentiments on the Christmas Background image with a variety of greens. After stamping, I was able to spritz it with water and get a second generation stamp for a future card.

This month we're playing with SENTIMENTS for the Stampendous Monthly Challenge. I used one of the new Background clings from Stampendous that has lots of fabulous Christmas sentiments on it. You could even ink up just one sentiment with a marker and stamp it out. Gotta love a stamp that gives you more bang for your buck.

Entering this in the following challenges:

I love this Wendy! The 'colored' background with splotches of ink is really cool.

Your card is gorgeous and fun to look at, I love the script background, cute little glittered basket and the twint wrapped around the card and fashioned as a bow on the front of the basket. So cute!
