Stampendous and WeeScapes

All this week the Stampendous team has been playing with Wee Scapes. What are Wee Scapes you ask? They are the cutest miniature landscaping elements and people.

For today's project, I used the metal tape technique that I used on a pendant a few weeks ago. Only this time, instead of placing dry wall mesh under my tape, I also placed small pieces of Wee Scapes plastic corrugated siding. That cool figure in there is actually one of their white plastic figures, that I've painted black and dry brushed with silver paint.  To complete the look, I stamped a background with the Gears Kiddo Clear Set and added a sentiment on shrink plastic. Black Glass glitter was added to the top and the bottom of the altoid tin.

Be sure to comment on the Designer's Blogs for a chance to win some of these great little pieces of scenery and some Stampendous stamps. If you don't have model builders in your life, head to the Store Locator on the Simi Creative website for where to buy Wee Scapes in your area!

This is an amazing piece. I love the texture you achieved on the outside and the inside is equally amazing. What a great way to use these products. Thanks for the inspiration.
