Patriotic...

Today I'm sharing a patriotic layout I created with one of my favorite photos of my youngest. ((sigh)) I can't believe he is graduating elementary school this week.

I used the Clear Scrap acrylic stars as stencils, laying them down and inking over them in Distress Ink. I continued to fill the entire sheet of cardstock with stenciled stars. To create texture, I splattered water over the Distress Ink.

I stamped Crafter Companion's Stamp It Australia Wallpaper with permanent ink on alphabet stickers.

Next I colored the back of the Star Border with Spectrum Noir markers. Dots of color were added on the front of the border with a marker and white acrylic paint.

The sentiment "Time to Celebrate" is from Crafters Companion Angelica and Friends Jessica set.

 Supplies Used:
Clear Scraps (Stars BorderSmall Stars Acrylic Embellishment )
Spectrum Noir Markers : TB4
Crafters Companion (Stamp It Wallpaper, Angelica & Friends Jessica)
Distress Ink (Faded Blue, Salty Ocean)
StazOn (Blue Hawaii)

This next project could be used as cupcake toppers. It uses the Small Star Embellishments and Mini Star Key Chain Album.

I colored the acrylic stars with Spectrum Noir markers. One the smaller acrylic star I stamped the Wallpaper background with StazOn ink on the front and added white acrylic paint to the back.  Next I adhered the two stars together with foam adhesive, placing the wooden dowel between the two layers.
