Dragonfly Washi Tape

As soon as I saw Stamp-It's Dragonfly Delight at Crafters Companion I knew I had to try making washi tape with it. That long image with the dragonflies and script...perfect! Gather up a roll of medical paper tape (found at dollar store or drug store), inks and stamps.

Supplies Used:
Popcorn- Thanks a Bunch
Imagine Craft Radiant Neon
medical paper tape
baby wipes
ribbon

Instructions:

1. Roll out a piece of medical tape and ink. I rubbed the ink in with a baby wipe to give it a soft blended look. Allow to dry.

2. Ink up stamp with permanent ink and stamp.

Here is a peek at a piece of tape I inked with Electric Blue and Electric Green Radiant Ink. The baby wipe blended the colors into a pretty aqua color.

3. Continue inking and stamping lengths of tape until you have a handful of pieces.

You can use the washi tape just as you would any other washi tape. The medical paper tape is repositionable. I adhered four colors of tape on cardstock, trimmed to size and used it as a panel on a card.

I'm glad to see someone else using paper medical tape. I hate to see some use expensive washi tape to hold dies in place while cutting, but this medical tape is so much cheaper at the dollar store! Love your washi! Dinaner
