Nathalie Kalbach's Foam Stamps...

Have you checked out Nathalie Kalbach's new Stampendous Foam Stamp, Cling Rubber and Stencil Sets? Urban Scribble is my FAVORITE!!! The grid stencil in this set was enough to make it a must have in my book! And the city image....LOVE! Since we live close to Philly, its Philly in my eyes!

I inked up the background with Distress Inks in fun bright colors. I didn't worry about the blending being perfect because I knew it was going to get covered. Next I made a few masks for the cling city image and filled the paper with the stamped image. A few tips...start at the bottom and work your way up the paper. Move your stamp so the image staggers instead of lining up. And don't sweat imperfection! We're going for the artsy look.  After you add in some grid stenciling, paint splatters and embellishments you're not going to notice tiny mistakes.

Lets talk prizes! We are mixing it up for three commenters during the hop. Each prize package includes all three of Nathalie Kalbach’s Foam, Cling Rubber and Stencil Stamp sets. But WAIT! This is open to everyone!

Comment on each blog post at Stampendous and that of each designer’s post on the hop this week. We’ll announce winners on Monday May 2nd.

Your layout is SERIOUSLY AWESOME Wendy!!!
LOVE your background, the dimension & detail is AMAZING!!!
THANK YOU for sharing your CREATIVE INSPIRATION and "recipe" for AWESOMENESS, it sounds like FUN to do, especially with inking before stamping, a technique that would be great for me, as I would really struggle working "with" the buildings in place :)
