Caution Layout...

It's DecoArt Week!!! We’re super excited this week to play with our friends at DecoArt. Andy Skinner, Mixed Media Artist and DecoArt International Education Coordinator, has designed some fantastic stamps for Stampendous, and we’re going to be showing them off all week long!

Andy will join us along with his team of international mixed media artists including Julia Stratford-Wright, Mark Gould, Mel Hookham, and Jools Robertson. Be sure to check out both the DecoArt Blog and Stampendous blog all week for lots of projects! 


Supplies Used:
Stampendous ASCRS06 Cling Toxic, DWLJ911 Gears Stencil, DWDMBP Matte Black Paste, FREG039 Aged Scarlet Embossing Powder
DecoArt Media Gesso (White), Metallic Lustre Black Shimmer
Distress Ink
Watercolor Paper
Beacon Zip Dry Adhesive


Instructions:
1. Apply gesso to Toxic image and stamp on watercolor paper. 
2. Apply Matte Black Paste to center of watercolor paper. Allow to dry.
3. Stamp images in Versamark on watercolor paper and emboss with Aged Scarlet Embossing Powder. 
4. Ink watercolor paper with Distress Ink. 
5. Embellish layout with pattern papers, tape and photo.

LOVE the darker color palette! It really makes the picture POP from the page! Those gears and Caution circles are awesome and I can think of lots of ways I would use them!!! TFS!

I love seeing stamps and mixed media elements applied to scrapbook pages! Fabulous layout and great use of the DecoArt, Andy Skinner, and Stampendous products! You've made such a cool layout for a boy/teen. This could even work with a photo of an adult male. Very inspirational!
