a bit of weekend stamping...

With the end of the school year busy schedule, the weekends seem to be turning into my relaxing time to create. Today I managed to get three cards done for challenges.

supplies used:
Cosmo Cricket pattern paper
Rubbernecker Stamps
microscope slides
Ranger ink
copper foil

The Rubbernecker challenges now is a choice of three different challenges. I chose to do the sketch challenge. First I stamped the image on a microscope slide and embossed it with black EP. I colored in the image with Ranger inks. The shirt and pants were paper pieced using 7gypsies pattern paper. I glued to them to the glass slide with a clear glaze. A bit of copper foiling and a jump ring soldered on and it was ready to go onto a card.

The pattern paper on the card is Cosmo Cricket. I cut out the centers of the pattern to create a lattice effect.

This weeks Cupcake Challenge #19 was another great sketch. I found an older Michaels $1 cupcake stamp in my stash as I was cleaning my room recently. I stamped the cupcake on the back of the cardstock and then cut out the stamped image. Flip over the cupcake to the ink free side and I had a cute little cupcake to use on my card.

supplies used:
Michaels $1 stamps
Basic Grey pattern paper

Well I have one more card to share, but I think that will have to wait till tomorrow.

The cupcake card is so cute - and what a great idea! I'll have to give that a try sometime.
