two days in a row...

are you impressed? LOL! I had high hopes when I started this blog of blogging every day, but that just didn't happen. I'm still trying but once or twice a week is more of a reality.

A few weeks ago I won a GC to Jacksonbelle Embellishments from Amber for a challenge she had on her blog. (Thanks Amber!!!!) I put that GC towards my first set of Lizzie Anne stamps. How cute are those stamps?! Heres a card I made using Beates weekend sketch and those LizzieAnne stamps.

Lets see... details. I stamped the floral image in Versamark and then embossed it with white EP. I went back and colored in the images with colored pencils. For the main image I tried my hand at the baby oil and colored pencil technique. Not sure I really like that technique any better than watercoloring, but my room now smells baby fresh. ;) I stamped and colored 3 flowers and popped them up for depth. The bottom layer was chalked a bit with aqua chalk to create a shadow.
