Is it too early to start making Christmas cards? I was looking at the large Lizzie Anne flower stamp last night and thought it looked a bit like a poinsetta. I stamped the flower on a piece of felt and then stitched over the ink lines with white embroidery floss. The middle piece of pattern paper is actually a strip of paper that I stamped the scroll design repeatedly on, embossed in white EP and then added watercolors. I used the Lizzie Anne BSC #2 sketch for this card.
supplies used:
Lizzie Anne Design stamps, Making Memories paper and sticker, felt, embroidery floss
I found a new challenge site called Our Creative Corner. This weekends sketch worked perfectly for this next card I had in mind. I stamped and masked the flower stamp repeatedly. I colored in all the flowers with watercolors in bright spring colors. I also stamped two additional flowers on transparency and cut them out to embellish the card with.
supplies used:
Lizzie Anne Designs stamps, Doodlebug stickers, MSE stamp, OCC sketch, Making Memories sticker, ribbon
