cute new stamps...

This first card uses a sketch that Lynn Mercurio created for Paper Craft Planet a few weeks back. I flipped it and added a bow. The pattern paper was a bit too light, so I added some red highlights onto the flower with watercolors.

That cute little hippo stamp is Harriet the Hippo from PaperWorks Co . These stamps are seriously cute! They are unmounted rubber stamps that come in the cutest packaging. I'm a sucker for cute packaging, lol! But I loved that the back has a color image of the stamps. Makes for a great reference when you're coloring. Check them out...

This next card, I thought I had blogged about it, but I'm not seeing it. This is Lucas the Lion. I stamped him twice on pattern paper and cut out the head (minus the mane). I twisted small pieces of embroidery floss, approximately 1-2 inches onto itself. I adhered them as I went creating the mane on the backside of the head. When it was complete, I simply adhered it to the other lion image with a pop dot.

happy Monday!
