a sneak peek from Molly Stamps...

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. We went from frost last week straight to hot weather. I just checked the thermometer and its 91 degrees out as I type. Guess we'll be digging out those air conditioner units this week. I was really hoping for a month of lower bills not running the heat or the air, LOL!

Todays card is one that I did for this months Design Team gallery at Paper Craft Planet. The theme is Mother and Child. Be sure to check out the gorgeous work of the other gals... PCP Gallery.

To create the flowers, I used coffee filters, embossing powder and watercolors. When we switched coffee pots, I ended up with a pile of coffee filters that would not work in the new coffee pot. Instead of throw them away, I've been letting the boys create artwork with them. They're alot of fun to color in with washable markers, spritz with water and watch the colors blend. You can scrunch them in the middle, add a wooden clothespin and you have a butterfly.

Tomorrow begins sneak peeks for Molly Stamps new set! I can't say what it is yet, but maybe I can give you a teeny tiny little sneak at what I've been working on. any guesses?

Thats it for today! Be sure to stop back tomorrow and check out the fun new stamps coming from Molly Stamps!

supplies used:
