you're my style...

Normally when I first see a stamp set, my minds goes into motion thinking of all the ways I want to use the set. Sometimes they're pretty straightforward and sometimes they're a bit out there. Today's card is one of those examples. As soon as I laid eyes on the chandelier in Lizzie Anne Designs In the Parlor set I knew I wanted to try to create pattern paper with it.

I stamped each chandelier in Versamark and embossed it before moving on to the next. The reason why is because its really really hard to see that Versamark on the black cardstock. To line them up before embossing with white would have been a nightmare. Because this is a straight image, I was able to do this without the stamp positioner. To make it easier, I marked the center line on the top/bottom of the chandelier on my acrylic mount. Then I just had to line up those marks with the previous embossed image. The tips didn't have to match exactly right because I planned to add gemstones there.

You've done a fabulous job lining everything up here...that must have taken some time! I love the colors and bling as well!!
