Do you all know about Cinema Saturdays Creative Challenge? The challenge is to create a card, project, layout using a famous movie as inspiration. This week's movie is Pirates of the Caribbean. Ok, I have to admit I'm not a big movie person. I tend to fall asleep during them, but I've seen this one! ok, most of it. I did take that little nap towards the end, LOL!
When I saw the challenge this week I drew a blank because I don't really have anything pirate themed. I just happened to find this stamp today in the Inkadinkado $1 bin at Joanns. Its supposed to be Halloween themed but it was perfect for the challenge. And it was the only one like it in the bin. Meant to be!
Happy Saturday!

Great card, Wendy! Love what you did with this stamp! Perfect for the cinema theme.
This came out fantastic! Love the bend in the flag and the beads on the tail end of the twine! :>
Oh no! Whatever you do....don't blow the embossing powder with something hot!! Hopefully, it cleaned up easily enough.....hands, swiffer, vaccuum?! Thanks for the reminder...its about time I put away some dark green EP that I have out that I was using to emboss some little trees! :>

This is such an awesome card!
Wow! That's the perfect stamp and you rocked this out!
Bargoooon on the stamp, it's perfect as the Jolly Roger.
This is SUPER cool, LOVE that flag!!
I really love the simplicity of this card, it is so striking! Love the way you worked the beads in as part of the "flagpole".
