Today I'm sharing a card that I made for both the Hero Arts "friendship" challenge and 2Peas "color it" challenge. Aren't those Hero Arts frogs cute?

To create the frogs, I stamped each one twice on white card stock, colored them in and then cut them out. I wanted them to look like they were 3D so for one of the layers, I cut off the back legs and cut the opening for the mouth. Next I adhered a piece of ribbon to the back of the top layer and threaded it through the mouth opening. I was hoping to make it look like they were catching bugs with their tongues. My youngest says it looks goofy. Isn't he a sweet critic, LOL! Finally I glued the head area together and adhered the belly area with a pop dot. Added some googly eyes...googly eyes make everything cuter! The lily pads were ovals cut using the Cricut, that I hand cut a "V" out of.

The Hero Arts challenge goes through tonight, so there's still time to get your cards in. You can find all the info HERE.
