make a wish...

I stink at making New Year resolutions. Well, I guess its not really the making them part but the sticking to them part that I stink at. I've made resolutions to get healthy, exercise more, lose those few extra pounds...etc. But I always end up breaking them a few weeks in. So this year, I'm going to make a wish instead. Doesn't it just sound better? I wish to live a more creative, fruitful, simple lifestyle in 2010. So what are your wishes for the new decade?

This months Design Team theme over at Paper Craft Planet is SWEET! I had fun pairing a few different Lizzie Anne sets together to come up with this card. The flourishes were embossed with a crystal EP. The main focal piece was colored with colored pencils and baby oil. Nothing scientific about it, I just kept adding in layers of color until it felt right. I used lime green, aqua and grey Koh-i-noor pencils. The cupcake was colored with crystal Stickles.

stamps: Lizzie Anne Designs (Fanciful Flourishes, Dec '09 Monthly Mix-Celebrate, and Party Animals)

(You may notice that due to a spammer that had nothing better to do this weekend, I had to change my blog to comment moderation. darn spammers! )
