sending JOY

Its been a snowy weekend here on the east coast. 27 inches according to the news!!! The best thing about being snowed in...plenty of stamping time after we shoveled out! Today's card is for a new weekly challenge issued by Becky Oehlers, Compose-A-Card. I'm a bit late because this was for the last weeks challenge, but it was a fun mix of colors so I had to give it a try! I substituted the stitched grosgrain for twine because I didn't have any that really matched too well.

supplies used: PaperTrey Ink stamps( sentiment and dots), Studio Calico stamp (bird)

I lifted the punched heart up on a pop dot and made it look like it was hanging from a piece of thread. I think that might just be the teeniest tiniest bow I've ever tied, LOL!

Have a wonderful weekend! And if you're snowed in and have a bit of stamping time, be sure to check out this week's Compose-A-Card with Becky.
