Everyone need Friends...

Today the (th)Tank Girls are sneaking a peek a new set of digi stamps soon to be released at Amber Ink. Aren't these Baby Mermaid girls adorable?! I had so much fun coloring them in. I've never colored a mermaid effect, but it was fun to give it a try. Over the greens and blue copics I added Smooch Illuminate. Its hard to see in the photo but it adds such a pretty shimmer to their tails.

I printed out some iPapers to use as my pattern paper. Using Broken China Distress Ink I inked up the background to give it a more mottled blue effect.
supplies used: digital image and iPapers- Amber Ink, Dot Sparklers stickers- Stampendous, coloring medium- Copics, diecuts- Cuttlebug BabyFace font

I am entering this in the following challenges:
the Pink Elephant- Ribbon and Sparkles
Creative Cards Crew- Sparkle and Shine
Tuesday Taggers- Sea, Water or Boats

Okay, so I should admit here that I'm a Project Runway junkie. I feel like Tim Gunn...You have just pure and utterly amazed me. No REALLY! The netted bow, the sparkle bubbles, the fish, and OMG... the seaweed paisley ipaper (like totally my FAVORITE!!!) I still don't understand how you did that! Must be my pea sized brain;)

The images are so cute, but your coloring is what makes them come to life. You're becoming quite the Copic pro! I love the netted bow and the cute little fish accents (and of course the Dot Sparklers!)
