Skipping Stones Designs SSD 44

Happy Tuesday! It is Tuesday, right? I have been walking around in a fog the past few days. It was bad enough when the dogs were waking me up at 4 am, but now I'm waking up at 4 am every morning on my own. What is up with that?!

Today I have one last Skipping Stones sketch as a guest designer to share. I have really loved every minutes of playing along with the Stamp Tramps! Thank you Heather!!! I'm supposed to be using Halloweenies for this sketch, but I had already done my card up before I got them, so here is my fall interpretation of the sketch. I do have a card half finished using the Halloweenies so be sure to check back later!

I used Timeless Textures to create the background for this card. I stamped it in Versamark and then swiped chalks over it. Yep, you know those old school chalks that we used to use on everything. Those are the same ones! I might have to dig them out more often because it really gives a soft effect for the background! The flowers are more from the Cuttlebug Quilling stash I made for a CX/Provo Craft project. I'm a bit addicted to those flowers right now, lol! The sentiment is from Always Here.

Here is this weeks sketch from the fabulous Ashley Cannon Newell...

And one last bit of EXCITING news! How about an update from the 1st annual Skipping Stones Designs Blogs 4 Boobies! I just heard from Heather that we are at $859.99! How awesome is that! But we haven't reached the $1000 goal SSD was hoping for, SO for every stamp set sold now through the end of the week Skipping Stones Designs will donate $3!

ALSO there is a new FUNTASTIC contest at Skipping Stones Designs. Be sure to check out the WORD OF MOUTH contest for a chance to win up to $150 worth of Skipping Stones merchandise!

I have to thank our sweet  friend  who the same day that her family lost a very dear family member to cancer placed the winning bid on my card set. In his memory we've matched her donation and are also donating. Take that cancer!

Deceptive simplicity at it's best. Did you make those flowers?
