Christmas in July...

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to share a card that I created using this weeks Skipping Stones Design sketch SSD 85. I loved this sketch! I stamped one of the images from Wise Men  on aqua cardstock. Next I colored it in with Faber Castell Design Memory Craft Aquarelle pencils. The white clouds were created by adding a bit of white sharpie and then smudging it immediately. When I was happy with the scene, I cut it into 3 equal pieces. Each part was inked up and embossed multiple times with Stampendous Deep Impressions embossing powder. The last step was to add the silhouette image on the top. I lined up the embossed pieces, leaving a space between them and stamped the image in Versamark. Next I embossed it in gold embossing powder.  When you're embossing an image on top of embossing powder, yes the embossed image underneath will remelt and you will get some mixing. I was ok with that but its just something to keep in mind when you're planning your project.

I added an embossed sentiment, Kreaxions punch # 303 and a sheer black bow. Its definitely not your traditional Christmas colors, but I'm liking them!

Created for the following challenges:
Paper Pretties- embossing
Class Act- Christmas
Totally Gorjuss- punches or diecuts
Creative Inspirations: Christmas in July
the Rubber Cafe- Christmas in July
