Winter Greetings in July....

BLOG CANDY ALERTBe sure to comment on the Stampendous Blog Candy post below for a chance to win Birch Buddies and Jumbo Snowman
***************************************
Today's card is one that I created using the sketch at The Lily Pad. I thought it was the perfect sketch for lining up all those cuties from Stampendous Snowy Short Stack. Lots of masking needed for this card. I colored all the images in with my Aquarelles and Derwent pencils. In order to make the colors pop, I laid down a layer of white colored pencil first for the elves outfits.

Challenges I am entering this card in:
Paper Craft Star- anything goes
Flourishes- Christmas
the Kraft Outlet- Christmas in July
Wee Memories- challenge # 62 CAS
the Rubber Cafe- Christmas
Simon Says Stamp- Anything Goes

Fabulous! I know this took a lot of work, both with all the masking, and secondly with the pencils. It was worth the effort! :-) Thanks so much for sharing this with us this week at The Kraft Journal!

There is just something special about the way color looks on kraft paper. It makes everything look so vintage - my favorite kind of style. Thanks for sharing your creation with us this week at Papercraft Star! I hope to see more of your creations with us soon!

This is so wonderful! Love the dimension you created by coloring a white base-coat (no pun intended) first. Will you be making 200 of these to send to your closest friends in a couple months? It's a great card.
