a day of sketches and stamping...

Been spending some time this afternoon in my studio stamping and working on some sketches. First up is a sketch from the uber talented Taylor. She's hosting SplitcoastStampers  sketch challenge today and I just had to play along. I had this idea that I wanted to create a postcard effect with the images. I masked off the edges of the card and stamped Stampendous Geo Bubbles on the card. The images were colored with Design Memory Craft PITT pens and Aquarelle pencils. The fabric strip was dyed with the PITT markers also.

Stampendous:  (Wishing Paradise, Geo Bubbles, Beachfront Boat and Sailboat Bay)
Faber Castell: Design Memory Craft PITT pens and pencils

Next up is a card I did for this weeks Skipping Stone Design Sketch. I struggled with this sketch, but ended up turning it on its side and using the designs from Victorian Summer. I added some pen details around the designs. Finally I embellished it with a Kreaxions Butterfly Punch and tulle.
Skipping Stone Designs: Victorian Summer, Sentiment Frames
Kreaxions: Butterfly Punch
