O Holy Night....

Hi everyone! I'm back with a card for this weeks Skipping Stones Design sketch. I had a lot of fun creating this card. I really just started playing with Distress Inks and paints. I inked up the paper with Distress Inks in Broken China, Faded Jeans and Peeled Paint. Next I splattered water on the card and waited. The water reacts with the Distress Ink and leaves the coolest splatter marks. I then stamped one of the images from Rustic Tile that reminds me of a snowflake in Moonlight White Brilliance Ink and Faded Jeans Distress Ink. 



To create the three tone effect on the sentiment, I inked the stamp up first with Broken China and then inked up the top in Peeled Paint and the bottom in Faded Jeans. I love the effect! Definitely going to have to remember this technique to use more!
