Instructions:
  1. Ink up stamps with Distress Inks, using a few colors. Spritz with water and stamp on cardstock. Trim.
  2. Adhere stamped images to the cardstock.
  3. Print out photo strip. Mask off photo and ink with Distress Ink to make photos pop.
  4. Print out journaling. Mask off edges and ink with Distress Ink.
  5. Thread embroidery floss through lace. Adhere to layout.
  6. Create a fluffy bow. Embellish with a button and adhere to layout.
  7. Adhere photos, journaling and alphabet stickers to the layout.

I think the layout took less time to create, then finding a photo of DH and I together, LOL! I ended up using the first photo DH and I have as husband and wife. We eloped so I don't have any wedding photos, but that doesn't make this photo any less special to me. The photo was taken way before digital cameras and was in color. I really needed a black and white photo for the layout, so I snapped a photo of the photo. With a bit of tweaking in GIMP and printing on cardstock you can't tell its a photo of a photo.

Having just turned the big 40, I can't get over how young we look here, lol. I look back and count all the blessings that have come into my life since becoming a wife and a mother and I feel so lucky!

Sale Reminder: Stampendous is celebrating National Craft Month in March by giving away a free stamp (Jumbo Thank You) with a $50 purchase.
