"After a time she heard a little pattering of feet in the distance, and she hastily dried her eyes to see what was coming. It was the White Rabbit returning, splendidly dressed, with a pair of white kid gloves in one hand and a large fan in the other: he came trotting along in a great hurry, muttering to himself as he came, `Oh! the Duchess, the Duchess! Oh! won't she be savage if I've kept her waiting!'"-- Chapter 2; Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
Want to play along? Show us your Sunday best (lace, ribbons, trim, Easter bonnet, etc.) using the above quote as inspiration for your project! Be sure to link it up on the Altered Alice blog.
supplies used: Stampendous (Wonderland Perfectly Clear stamps, Ultra Fine Red Glitter & Red Opaque Embossing Powder), Bazzill cardstock, May Arts ribbon, Basic Grey alphabet stickers
I created playing cards with the Alice stamps. After embossing the A of heart symbol in red EP, I coated it with glitter. A bit of red glitter was also added to the flowers and umbrella. Finally I splattered a bit of blue watercolor on the cards to give them some color.
