Stampendous Sneaks Day 2- Jewelry Making

Welcome back for day 2 of Stampendous New Release Week! Today I'm sharing with you a sampling of some of the amazing new Aged Embossing Powders and a fun way to use it.

No, that is not stone. Its embossing powder! When I started playing around I found that when you overheat embossing powders sometimes they get white flecks or bubble. Really really cool effect because when you add a thick coating of Deep Impressions it almost looks like stone or pottery. Love the contrast of the slick stone appearance with the golden natural wood of the bangle.

Supplies Used:
Stampendous Embossing Powders (Aged Marine, Aged Teal, Aged Green, Aged Bronze, Crystal and Deep Impressions)
Tsukineko Versamark
DIY Bangles (wood bangle)
Antiquing Gel
Varnish

Instructions
1. Ink outer surface of the bangle well with Versamark.
2. Sprinkle with a variety of Aged Embossing Enamels. Heat
3. Add another layer of Aged Embossing Enamels while the first layer is still molten.
4. Add a layer of Crystal Embossing Powder. Heat.
6. Finish with two layers of Deep Impressions Embossing Powder to give a glass like finish.
7. Stain the inner part of the bangle with Antiquing Gel. Add varnish to stained area to protect.

And of course you need some earrings to go with the bangle so here they are. Here you can see the white "pitting" effect. I didn't add white powders to these. It was the combination of the Aged Enamels with the Crystal EP.

Supplies Used:
Stampendous Embossing Powders (Aged Marine, Aged Teal, Aged Green, Aged Bronze, Crystal and Deep Impressions)
Tsukineko Versamark
DIY Bangle wood pendant beads
bamboo skewer

Instructions
1. Place wood bead on skewer and ink well with Versamark.
7. Create jewelry out of embossed beads.
