Steampunk Owl & Giveaway

I am beginning to love the Steampunk style and was delighted to see this cutie in the new Stampendous images. Meet Steampunk Owl

Supplies Used:
Ranger Archival Jet Black ink
Derwent Inktense Watercolor pencils
White Sharpie marker
cardstock

Directions:
1. Create card base from metallic cardstock.
2. Cover 3.75 x 4.25 piece of cardstock with Versamark and emboss with Aged Spice EP. Adhere to card base.
3. Stamp owl and color with watercolors.
4. Cut thin strips of cardstock to create tree branches.
5. Adhere owl to card.
6. Adhere mica fragments to branches.

And before I send you off hop, hop, hopping let me announce the winner of the Key Note Cling stamp from Wednesday's post and announce my next Giveaway. I asked my son to pick a number between 1 - 36 and he picked 22. Congratulations DonnaJ!
