Stampendous and Beacon Blog Hop

We are wrapping up Stampendous and Beacon's Fast Finish Week with a big hop today! For today's project, instead of using it as a decoupage medium, I used it on the surface of stamped image to give it a bit of shine and texture.

Can you see those crackles? If you apply enough coats of Fast Finish, you can your project a crackle finish by bending and twisting the papers in much the same done in cracked glass technique.

Supplies Used: Stampendous (Cling Rose Cluster), Beacon (Fast Finish), burlap, May Arts ribbon, Tsukineko (Memento ink), Copics, kraft cardstock

The whole team is playing along today, so be sure to visit all of the blogs and leave some insightful, kind comments (the kind that let us know you looked at the project) and we'll give some great prizes, sending some of you with U.S. mailing addresses some Fast Finish Decoupage Medium and some Stampendous Stamps. Here we go...

Hi, Wendy! This card is just so feminine and pretty - my favorite color combo is blue and white! The addition of the burlap and ribbon is just lovely. Thanks for the tip about creating the cracked glass effect with the fast finish, too.

I am up early this morning and have been the first one to comment on several of the blog hop blogs! Alas, the first one to comment usually doesn't win anything. LOL
But, I am enjoying the beautiful creations I've seen along the way, for sure. Have a great weekend.
